Admin Corner Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before joining Admin Corner. By completing your subscription payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions and Governing Law
1.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
1.2 Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following words have the meanings set out below:
Admin Corner: The online membership programme operated by the Consultant, including all associated content, resources, and sessions.
Sessions: The weekly one-hour group sessions delivered as part of the Admin Corner membership, currently hosted via Microsoft Teams. Sessions consist of a 15-minute tips and systems training element followed by 45 minutes of facilitated co-working time.
Membership Content: All materials, resources, guides, session recordings, and other content made available to members through the Admin Corner members area.
Member: Any person who has completed a subscription payment and been granted access to Admin Corner.
Consultant: Refers to Emma Shergold.
Subscription: The recurring payment made by a Member in exchange for access to Admin Corner, payable monthly or annually as selected at the time of joining.
2. About Admin Corner
2.1 What Admin Corner Provides
Admin Corner is a group membership programme designed to help small business owners tackle their administrative tasks. It provides weekly group sessions, practical training, and access to a library of resources and guides.
2.2 Nature of the Service
The Consultant provides administrative consultancy services of an advisory and supportive nature. Admin Corner is a group programme and does not constitute one-to-one consultancy. Members participate alongside other business owners and receive general guidance applicable to their administrative needs.
2.3 Not a Substitute for Professional Advice
The content and guidance provided through Admin Corner is for general educational and practical support purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, or other regulated professional advice. Members are responsible for seeking appropriate professional guidance for their specific circumstances.
2.4 Session Platform
Sessions are currently delivered via Microsoft Teams. The Consultant reserves the right to change the platform used for delivery. Members will be given reasonable notice of any such change via email.
2.5 Session Recordings
Weekly sessions are recorded and made available to members through the Admin Corner members area. To protect the privacy of all participants, any introductory chat before the session formally begins is removed from recordings before they are published, and attendee video is anonymised. Recordings are provided for the personal use of members only and may not be shared, distributed, or published outside the membership. The Consultant reserves the right to remove or replace recordings at any time.
2.6 Right to Decline or Remove Access
The Consultant retains the right to decline membership or remove access for any member whose conduct is deemed disruptive, disrespectful to other members, or otherwise contrary to the values of Admin Corner.
3. Subscription and Payment
3.1 Subscription Plans
Admin Corner is available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Current pricing is set out on the Admin Corner website and at the point of purchase. The Consultant reserves the right to amend pricing, with existing members given reasonable notice of any changes.
3.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By completing your subscription, you authorise recurring payments to be taken in accordance with your chosen subscription plan.
3.3 Access on Payment
Access to the Admin Corner members area and its content is granted immediately upon confirmation of payment. By completing your subscription, you acknowledge that membership content is made available to you immediately.
3.4 No Cooling-Off Period
Because access to Admin Corner and its content is granted immediately upon payment, you do not have a right to cancel and receive a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By completing your subscription, you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that your right to cancel for a full refund does not apply once access has been granted.
3.5 Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails or is not received, access to the members area may be suspended until payment is made. The Consultant will notify the Member by email if a payment issue arises. If payment is not resolved within seven (7) days of notification, the membership may be cancelled.
4. Cancellation
4.1 Cancellation by the Member
Members may cancel their subscription at any time without a notice period. Cancellation can be completed directly via the membership platform. If a Member experiences any difficulty cancelling or wishes to discuss their membership, they are welcome to contact the Consultant at [email protected]. Access to the members area will continue until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.
4.2 Cancellation by the Consultant
The Consultant may cancel a membership at any time by giving written notice to the Member. Where the Consultant cancels a membership other than for reasons of Member conduct, a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current billing period will be provided.
The Consultant may end the membership immediately and without refund if a Member breaches these Terms, including but not limited to non-payment, breach of confidentiality, or misuse of Membership Content.
4.3 Closure of Admin Corner
In the unlikely event that Admin Corner closes entirely, Members will be given a minimum of 30 days’ written notice. A pro-rata refund for any unused paid period will be provided.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
All intellectual property rights in and arising from Admin Corner, including all Membership Content, session materials, resources, guides, recordings, training materials, and related content, are and remain the sole property of Emma Shergold.
5.2 Permitted Use
Members are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use Membership Content for their own business purposes during the period of their active subscription. This licence does not permit Members to:
- Copy, reproduce, or duplicate any Membership Content
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on Membership Content
- Publish, republish, share, or distribute Membership Content to any person outside the membership
- Sell or otherwise commercially exploit any Membership Content
- Share login credentials or provide access to the members area to any other person
5.3 Member Content
Where Members contribute content within sessions or group discussions, they retain ownership of their own contributions. By participating, Members grant the Consultant a non-exclusive licence to reference such contributions (anonymously where appropriate) for the purposes of developing and improving Admin Corner.
6. Confidentiality
6.1 Member Confidentiality Obligations
Admin Corner sessions are a confidential space. Members must not share, disclose, or reproduce any information shared by other members during sessions or within the membership community. This includes business information, personal circumstances, or any other information that another member would reasonably expect to remain private.
6.2 Consultant Confidentiality
The Consultant will treat all information shared by Members in the course of their membership with strict confidence and will not disclose it to third parties except as required by law or with the Member’s written consent. 7. Member Responsibilities
7.1 Conduct
Members are expected to engage with Admin Corner in a respectful and constructive manner. Admin Corner is a collaborative, supportive environment and all Members are expected to contribute to that culture.
7.2 Session Attendance
Attendance at sessions is at the Member’s discretion. Sessions will proceed regardless of individual attendance. Where a Member cannot attend, session recordings are available in the members area.
7.3 Questions and Communication
Members are encouraged to contact the Consultant by email at [email protected] with any questions between sessions. Member questions will typically be responded to during the next live Admin Corner session.
7.4 Implementation
The Consultant provides guidance, tools, and support through Admin Corner. The implementation of any recommendations, systems, or processes remains the sole responsibility of the Member. The Consultant cannot guarantee specific outcomes from participation in Admin Corner.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Consultant shall have no liability for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by a Member, however caused.
The Consultant’s total liability to any Member shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that Member in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the Consultant’s liability for death or personal injury caused by the Consultant’s negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Force Majeure
The Consultant will not be liable for any failure to deliver sessions or make Membership Content available where this is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, technical failures, internet outages, or other unforeseen events. Where sessions are missed due to such circumstances, the Consultant will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements where reasonably practicable.
10. Changes to Admin Corner and These Terms
10.1 Changes to the Membership
The Consultant may update or change the format, content, or delivery of Admin Corner from time to time. Members will be notified of any material changes by email. Where a Member does not wish to continue following a material change, they may cancel their subscription in accordance with Section 4.
10.2 Changes to These Terms
The Consultant may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on the Admin Corner website. Members will be notified of any material changes by email. Continued use of the membership following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms represent the entire agreement between the Consultant and the Member in relation to Admin Corner and supersede any prior representations or agreements.
The Consultant may transfer rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation and will notify Members in writing if this occurs.
